Looking for a creative and stylish DIY wedding favor for your bookish guests? Make DIY ribbon bookmark favors!
Ribbon bookmarks are perfect favors for a book-themed shower, a literary themed wedding or a vintage wedding. Give them on their own, or tuck them inside a book. They’re a great way to re-purpose old jewelry!
Here’s how to make ’em:
DIY Ribbon Bookmarks
You will need:
- 16mm or 5/8 inch Ribbon Clamp End Crimps (2 per bookmark)
- 5/8 inch wide velvet ribbon (a length of nine inches per bookmark)
- jump rings
- flat nose pliers
- round nose pliers
- ruler
- earrings, pendants from old jewelry (I used earrings and pendants from the {styled} by Tori Spelling line of jewelry)
Measure ribbon and cut into 9 inch lengths.
Place ribbon clamp on one end of the ribbon.
Press down on ribbon clamp until it’s secure using flat nose pliers. Repeat on other end of ribbon.
Using your pliers, carefully open a jump ring and attach pendant.
Voila!
Add pendant to other side of ribbon. That’s it!
We had so much fun with these, we couldn’t stop!
So pretty!
