    The venue is unique in both location and in history. The Grand Victorian is a Gothic Revival style former church, originally built in 1877, that has been lovingly renovated. It is now a boutique wedding experience and there is no other place like it on PEI. The venue has been designed very carefully to be complimentary to the setting of enchanting Victoria-by-the-Sea. This village offers so much old-world charm with its dynamic businesses, restaurants, lovely theatre and awe-inspiring sea views.     The historic 140 year-old building will wow clients with its one-stop-shop appeal. Couples and their wedding party can all get ready in 2 different locations in the building. The Balcony Suite has a full bath, sitting area with flat screen TV and queen bedroom. The Parlour has a change room, a 3/4 bath and an entertainment area with pool table, poker table, flat screen TV with video game system. Both areas have separate entrances. How romantic to be so close all day but yet not being able to see each other. The wedding ceremony can be outside or inside. The reception and dance can be held in the newly renovated ballroom at The Grand Victorian, and the happy couple can even spend the night in the romantic and one-of-a-kind Balcony Suite.     The Grand Victorian has the incredible venue and an in-house marriage commissioner for stress-free planning. Ceremonies can be performed outside with arbor, handmade bench seating and a water view, or inside under glowing chandeliers for a more traditional feel with indoor arbor and chiavari chairs for your guests.

    We have a variety of hand-picked caterers to suit your palate and budget. There are options to use 72 inch round tables with some harvest tables and some antique furniture. The Grand Victorian has a covered area outside as well as the bar area inside where your guests can mingle after your ceremony as we are preparing for your reception. The village of Victoria-by-the-Sea is a also a very short walk from our venue. Islanders and visitors alike will enjoy touring the area on foot looking at the shops and taking pictures of the water and beautiful landscape.
