Being a second wedding for both the bride and the groom, Esmeralda and Armando wanted their nuptials to be as intimate an affair as possible. The couple chose the gorgeous historic Mackey House in Savannah, Georgia for their venue and exchanged their vows outdoors on the property grounds in front of 40 of their closest family and friends. They celebrated into the night with dinner, dancing, and cupcakes!

Why did you have an intimate wedding?
We wanted to share the intimate moment with intimate friends.
What are some of the challenges that you faced planning an intimate wedding?
We didn’t really have any because it was small enough that if any changes were made it didn’t make a big difference.
Was it difficult to pare down the guest list?
Yes, because of the individuals coming from out of town, it made it more difficult.
Did you have any ‘issues’ with the small guest list from friends and family? If so, how did you address them?
Not at all. My friends and family where very supportive just like I suspected they would be.
What were the highlights of the ceremony?
The highlights of the wedding were the ceremony, the pictures, and the food was amazing.
What were the highlights of the reception?
The reception highlights were the first dance, the love, and the pictures were amazing.
What was the best thing about having an intimate wedding?
It was small, cozy, and adorable.
What advice do you have for couples who are considering an intimate wedding?
I would definitely recommend it.
