About Daphne and Dean
“Would you like a french fry?” Peter asked as he clumsily knocked ALL of his french fries to the floor of the restaurant. Needless to say I (Erin) chuckled, and then he quickly changed the subject to the vintage Canon AE-1 camera that he had with him that night. We ended up talking for hours about everything and nothing at the same time, and he says he knew from that night that I was “the one.” Although it may not have been the PERFECT first date, it was the last first date that both of us ever had. Five months later we were engaged, and two years later we’re almost married!
It was our love of photography that pushed us to form Daphne and Dean. At the time I was getting my degree in Fine Art and photographing weddings on my own, and Peter was getting his degree in Communication and Theatre while working in the film industry and photographing portraits.
We’re in love with what we do. We’re in love with each other. And we also love burritos, Bingo, grilled cheese, board games, sidewalk chalk, geocaching, anything Disney, seaglass, road trips, horseshoes, book stores, gardening, DIY, crafts, and Pinterest. I also love cats and Cape Cod, and Peter loves cycling and chick flicks.
