About M Studios
is for Melissa. M is for Marisa. Together we make up M.Studios. We have been friends since we met while working in a comic book store sometime in the ’90s. We have been roommates, we were at each other’s weddings, visited each other in the hospital when we had our babies and have stuck by one another through thick and thin. We have a very loving friendship and this is how we came to start our business. We both have a similar aesthetic: we love classic, vintage, shabby-chic styles. We are a bit of an odd couple, though. Melissa is always too early while Marisa is always late. Together we are always on time. Melissa over thinks things while Marisa flies by the seat of her pants. Together we get things done in a nice relaxed way. Melissa looks at a photo and sees what could have been improved while Marisa only sees the good. Our love of photography shines through in our work and our talent is one that we do not take for granted. Together we are always striving to become better at our craft and are honored to be chosen to capture these important memories for our clients.
