The Morning Star Bed & Breakfast, LLC is located in the Houston and Pierre Streets Historic Residential District, one block from the heart of downtown Manhattan, Kansas. Built in 1902, the home has lovely architectural features such as high ceilings, tall windows, carved woodwork, and a wrap-around limestone porch with columns.

Most of our ceremonies take place by the fountain in the beautiful front garden or on the porch. The garden is usually in bloom from mid-April through mid-November and makes a scenic backdrop for photos. Late November through February, we have Christmas lights and holiday decorations outside. For outdoor weddings, we can accommodate up to 40 people standing or 20 sitting. For indoor weddings, by the fireplace we can accommodate up to 30 people standing or 20 sitting.
